All of our inflatable buoys are constructed using heavy duty 18oz vinyl-coated PVC tarpaulin material. These marks are easy to inflate (see video), use, deflate and store. Each mark must pass a 24 hour inflation test before shipment and carries a one year limited warranty. Our larger marks are equipped with a pressure relief valve to prevent over inflation.
Most of our marks are anchored with a stainless steel 3 D-ring system on the bottom of the buoy. We do NOT provide anchor line or weights but generally suggest using a mushroom anchor in lakes and Danforth anchors for larger bodies of water. Weight depends on the size of the buoy but we suggest 5-25 lbs depending on the body of water as well as size of the buoy. ALWAYS make sure there is plenty of slack in the anchor line.
They are used for nautical, yachts, stand up paddle and dragon boat races as well as triathlons, swimming competitions and much more. We are a custom fabricator and thus offer an array of choices in shapes, sizes, colors and custom printing. The limits are only your imagination.
